The Alliance for Spiritual Ecology
The Alliance
for Spiritual Ecology is not just an alliance among humans. It is
an Alliance between the human and elemental kingdoms. In a number
of stories in Soul on Fire, Peter describes
how simple ceremonies by a single person, or only a few people,
were able to accomplish the seemingly impossible, triumphing against
overwhelming odds where activism, organized protests, and public
education had failed.
Can you imagine what large gatherings of us or a number of small
groups could achieve with a carefully synchronized and concerted
effort?
The purpose of this Alliance is, first, to create a local, regional,
and ultimately national and world-wide group of people dedicated
to protect both the sacred sites of Earth and environmentally sensitive
areas that are threatened by such things as invasive development,
oil and gas exploration, strip mining, clear cutting, or the selling
off of public lands. The Alliance is also being established for
healing areas that have been abused and brought into unbalance;
and areas stricken by drought and excessive rainfall, perhaps even
blight or infestation.
Those working
with the Alliance for Spiritual Ecology, founded in June of 2006,
have been given a powerful protocol for healing and protecting our
beloved Earth and those with whom we share this planet - but do
not have a voice or vote. These members of our world include the
wild creatures, the great whales and dolphins, the other ‘intelligent’
life on this world, the old growth forests, and the atmosphere.
The approach to conducting sacred ceremonies used by the Alliance
has provided amazingly effective for stopping exploitation of sacred
sites and fragile ecosystems. It has proven effective in preventing
laws from being passed (both local and national) that are invasive
to the Earth as well as those that are invasive to human rights.
Each time we
have performed a ceremony whether in Tennessee, North Carolina,
Virginia, or other states where Peter has lectured or taught a seminar,
specific, tangible results have occurred, which Peter and Astrid
have documented.
Where as so
many well-intentioned ceremonies for the Earth have seemed to bring
only modest results, this has not been the case for the Alliance
for Spiritual Ecology an the Alliance's results have not been modest.
Rather, the results have often been immediate and tangible. In those
areas such as global warming and pollution of the oceans where results
are more difficult to measure, there have been remarkable synchronicities,
which Peter and Astrid believe are like ‘promises from the
Invisible World’ that the ceremony has been effective and
blessed.
Peter and Astrid
believe there are specific reasons for this difference:
1. First, it is not just an agreement among humans to assist the
Earth but is an alliance between humans and the Native Elements
– a contractual agreement that Peter and Astrid are certain
has been accomplished.
2. Secondly, it is through the power of intention – one of
the greatest forces in the universe – that is used in these
ceremonies.
3. Third, the method if “sealing” intention in the Etheric
Grid Work or the Energetic Template of the planet at the end of
each ceremony virtually assures results!
We are just getting started and have over 150 members spread out
from Idaho to Maine to the US Virgin Islands. The Alliance for
Spiritual Ecology (ASE) will hold ceremonies in the afternoon on
the Sundays just before or within one day after the full moon. (In
most Native Americans traditions, the day before, the day of, and
the day after a full moon have the power of the full moon.) The
dates for ceremonies in 2008 are:
January 20, 2008
February 17, 2008
March 23, 2008
April 20, 2008
May 18, 2008
June 15, 2008
July 20, 2008
August 17, 2008
September 14, 2008
October 12, 2008
November 16, 2008
December 14, 2008
We
encourage you to join us by holding a ceremony in your area at that
time if possible. You can follow the “Steps for Conducting
a Sacred Ceremony” described in Appendix B of Soul on Fire or click here for a summary.
If you are interested in volunteering to find another person to
do a ceremony with – or to create a group of people for this
special purpose - please send an e-mail to Natalie
Worthington, Spokeswoman for the Alliance.
